I bet you configure it, and give them some guidance on usage, and they are using the computer to run a business - or they use a computer in their work.
I find its often better not to overload people with unnecessary software, especially those who never use(d) a computer in their job, or have limited formal education. They probably won't keep it up to date, and given that these things call home they are vulnerable to being exploited.
YMMV - But I would rather keep things as simple as I can.
