I didn't worry about bacon that much. I did have a cat that tried to mug me for a chicken liver sauteed in garlic. Dizzy was ordinarily very polite and well behaved, but I guess the aroma was too much for him. My SO still breaks out in giggles when she remembers the look on my face when it happened.

And my late cat Kvetch had a thing for raw garlic. She had a chronic sinus condition medication reduced but didn't cure, and I suspect raw garlic was one of the few things she could actually smell.
