I know right...having a nice cover is good but once you open the book the cover disappears...you don't read the cover. If you paid forty dollars for a book and all they gave you was a cover you'd be pissed. The story is what makes or breaks the book in my eyes. If I read it and I like it, it's sold. Good reviews help but it all comes down to what I think about what's available for me to peek at...the snippets. If I'm drawn to the story then that's it...add it to my list.
