@betavita - Calibre ships as an .msi, VirtualBox ships as an .exe. You'll never see Run as Administrator on any .msi file.

The .msi extension (Windows Installer Package) is associated with with Windows ® Installer program (it's in the Windows sub-directories as msiexec.exe) and on my fully patched Windows install it was last changed on Nov 21 2010 at 2:24PM.

I suspect your ownership and/or permissions security settings are 'improper'. If you're in a hurry try turning UAC off, and take up a_daley's offer to help you get your security settings 'proper'.
