Using version 1.25, I select a set of books (about 20) and click Edit metadata.
From there I enter a series name and click Apply. I get an error popup saying:

calibre, version 1.25.0
ERROR: Search/replace invalid: Search pattern is invalid: You must specify a search expression in the "Search for" field

Then I click Cancel, and the Edit Metadata window disappears, then reappears, and I have to click Cancel again.

Help?
