I recently bought 5 titles in a series.

I added them to calibre and then added them to my Kindle (from calibre). I then added them to my folder called FICTION. I then read one and deleted it. I then decided to remove the remaining three but leave only the second one in the series on the Kindle - to read next, of course.

My problem is that during a recent wifi connection, these these 3 titles were added back to the Kindle (from the CLOUD, apparently), and now I am unable to delete them from my Kindle

What is actually there (in the FICTION folder) is the image. (I think that's correct.) I have no choice to delete when I tap on the image and hold. These are my choices when I do that: ADD TO HOME; ADD TO FREE TIME LIBRARY; ADD TO COLLECTION; BOOK DESCRIPTION.

There is no choice to delete. As mentioned, these are apparently the images. When I click to just download them, I can download them fine; but then, upon attempting to delete them, the images are left in the folder. (Again, I am assuming these are merely images; I don't really know.)

I've tried going to the CLOUD and deleting them from my folder, to no avail.

To sum up:

1) I don't want these titles on my Kindle - at this time.
2) When I DO want them on my Kindle, I want to use my calibre version rather than what's in the CLOUD.

I'm tempted to just simply delete them from my account, never to be available to me again except through my calibre versions. Is that a realistic solution?

Any suggestions, please?
