I bought the Kindle, sight unseen, by watching their video, over and over. I read the reviews, many of which were negative, and soon realized THOSE were either from people that didn't' even own one, or whined about the big buttons, which i don't' have an issue with, being average in the intelligence department.....just average, mind you, sometimes below!
I didn't need Oprah or anyone one else to tell me it was perfect for my wants.
That being said, listen to what the people on this site say. They are readers, who use their devices for the joy of it, not for pay.
