There go 15 minutes of my life which it took me to write the post that just vanished into the void.
In the process I changed from the quick answer window to the full editor and got

"Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired.
Please push the back button and reload the previous window."
Only the previous window was empty. Everything wiped. Well who ever knew about "tokens" and that they expire in minutes. I for sure didn't.
