Moving on from Nook. Would like input, please?
Hi all.
I have a Nook Simple Touch. I've had it for a year, and due to some recent hardware difficulties, it's time to move on. MicroSD cards no longer work on it, and considering the amount of books I have, that's a deal-breaker. I've read around and it seems quite a few people are experiencing this issue.
I'd like to buy a new Nook Glowlight, but without expandable storage, I can't buy it. It's a shame because so far the Nook has done a fantastic job of doing what I want. It's easy to use and I've never had formatting issues when reading my books.
I'd like to hear some suggestions of what ereader I should try next. Here are my criteria:
1. Must be e-ink.
2. Must have expandable storage.
3. Must read epubs (all high quality) without any formatting, spacing, or paragraph errors.
4. I use Calibre to organize my books (from various online sellers) and move them manually to my ereader.
5. I'd like to buy the most "current" model, as so far both Nooks I've owned have been a generation out of date when I bought them. And both have had issues with the SD card over time.
I currently have my eye on the Kobo Aura. I'm not interested in the HD version. However, I've read about issues with indenting and text formatting that are making me unsure. I'd love to hear suggestions.
