As dordale has pointed out, I'm sensitive to wi-fi. I learned this at the previous area I lived in. It gives me very bad headaches. When I had the cable installed in my new house, the guy who did the installation disabled the wi-fi from INSIDE the router, so that it would be wired only. This means I would have to open up the router, which would probably be against the terms of my contract with the cable company.

The only mention of the tech friend was to do with going over to his house (he lives round the corner) and 'borrowing' his wi-fi to register, not for downloading books. The books are sideloaded.

I DON'T WANT WI-FI due to being oversensitive to it. For the same reason, I have my moby off most of the time, just switching it on occasionally to check for texts. All my friends phone my landline.
