The Alberta government changed the liquor laws for the day of the gold medal game, and allowed selling and serving of alcohol in bars and restaurants beginning at 5 a.m.
I wasn't in town to participate as I was ice fishing this weekend, so I felt obligated to take the opportunity to get some morning beer in.
