BR should not use of different smileys that have the same meaning within the same thread. As sinful as using different words with the same meaning, or the same word with different meanings within the one scene; not even Spokeshave stooped as low as that, although Goldsmith probably did

That'll put cat 'mongst pigeons, lad. Where's that tin-foil 'at at then

I checked the grammar of the revised version of the sentence at question in Word, Grammarly, Reverso, and Spell & Grammar Check; none complained about the third sentence, although there were some quibbles about the second. Here's my revised version of the post in its entirety:

Perhaps the books came with a jacket. If you don't want any of them use the Modify plug-in to remove all of them .

Maybe a book can have multiple jackets; perhaps from different sources: publisher, seller, library manager, etc., so maybe calibre convert only acts on the calibre jacket.
IMO there should be an option to put them at the back of the book.

I wonder if the problem you have with Polish is related to the problems you had with using the 64bit version of calibre on Win8.
@seacity - please have your four-year old grand-daughter cast her beadies across that. And, don't encourage her to be a politician, cast her instead as an old-school editor, heavens knows we need some of them. IMO we have more than enough mealy-mouthed politicians and hangers-on thereto. Out of the mouth of babes... Psalms 8.1
