I'd just email or call them. If you know about the deal, they will often give it to you whether you got an email or not. They will usually fix it, but do have planned purchases in mind. I think some of the offerings are based on how long you have been a member and how long you have had credits sitting in your account doing nothing.
Oh, and unless it states otherwise, using a credit for a preorder counts as using a credit for many of these use-so-many-credits get $$ or credit deals. I was recently offered (and took) a use 4 credits, get 1 credit.
