I thought the Aura HD was very customizable? Several reviews seemed to indicate that.

Since the iRiver can be used equally well with both hands I'll have to compare with how I use my Nexus 7. I probably hold it mostly in my right hand and flip pages by tapping with my thumb. I use Google's Book reader and, lately Moon Reader+. Left hand occasionally help support the weight of the device.
