I don't remember my first Romance novel, heck I'm 55, but I do remember buying used novels from this hole in the wall shop. Mostly, I can remember the Angelique books (which I am currently editing after scanning) and Skye O'Malley.
I used to quickly chew through books and made frequent trips to the used book store to sell back what I read and to look for new-to-me books to read.
