Yeah -- I actually bid $27.97. I like to use odd numbers. If the other bidder had put a round number -- like $25, then I would still have beat them. And that's why I do the bidding in the last 15 seconds. Odds are the other person only bid 1 buck above the prev price -- in which case I'll get it for $7.50, as actually occurred.
I paid for it right after the auction. I'll let you all know what the book is, when it arrives. And it if has a signable card, I'll separately mail that to VR and RSirE while the book is winging its way to France.
