For me who hardly ever wears a watch anymore after losing one (my purse strap brushes against the leather buckle, opens it and it falls off, the pins have popped out a few times and again it falls off... all but once I noticed it right away and found them, but the one lost had a lot of sentimental value), and who usually sits in parks or at the lakefront killing time before an appointment where there are no clocks, having the time always visible at the bottom of a page is essential for me. Having tor repeatedly bring up the top menu to keep checking the time interrupts the flow of reading for me, and haven't you ever been so engrossed in a book that you totally lost track of time? I'd eventually forget to check the time.

The perfect solution of course is an option to keep the time visible or not, everyone's happy then. There's more than enough room in that huge bottom margin to add it at the right side.

I'd be tempted to install Coolreader, but I doubt it will work with firmware 2.4.0, which is what I'm sticking with for several reasons.
