When I read with "uBook" on the Pocket PC I used its "autoscroll" feature a lot. That, though, was rather different, in that it was a smooth "pixel" scroll and you could stop it and re-start it at the touch of a button if you found the text getting ahead of you. I imagine that a page-based auto-scroll wouldn't work nearly so well, because you'd be stuck if the page turned before you'd finished reading it.
