Minor Fix For Calibre?

Anyone know how to suggest a minor change/simple fix, long time annoyance in calibre?

Specifically for this post, The Author_sort field (doesn't appear as a defined column, But/And if you try and use it as a user defined column, it says already in use)
i ended up working around that (tricking it) by defining a user defined column as Author Name As LN,FN built from other columns, template value {author_sort})
result, my author column shows the author as FN LN and then the user defined column shows the author as LN,FN
Point is that annoyance(missing field display/hidden field) has been around for at least a year) but been surpassed by all the talk/posts etc are should author names be FN,LN or LN,FN (seems to me just allow easy use/display of the Author_sort field, and you have BOTH ways), but to date i have found no way of suggesting a change/fix
