and surprised that no-one answered that post, but I did figure it out, eventually. I now need to find some epubs that have lots of coloured bits inside, to give it a good workout.
I wasted about 3 hours through being confused between a 7 inch Kobo arc and a Kobo Arc 7, I did not realise that they are different models & I had the wrong user guide... I was trying to set up multi-user so that everyone in the house could use it, but it turned out that I'd bought the version that only does single user. The arc which I have is the original model, they then launched an arc 7 which was subtly different. But I only paid £79, for a new 64GB model which I thought was a good deal, & I splashed out all of £0.99 to lose the adverts from the killer sudoku app; so so far so good.
