Preparing to reset and update the router today. We've been having problems with it for a while now and our ISP (who loaned us the router) advised us to update it to the latest firmware since the problem we're having is known to them and a firmware update should solve it.
However, my father has forgotten the router's password so we have to do a factory reset first.
I'm now compiling a list with all the data we need to hopefully set it up as it was (ip address, name, password) so we don't have to change all the electronics connected to it. I've also downloaded the manual and printed the step by step of firmware updating from our ISP's website, so that if we are without internet we still have the documentation.
