Options are good. Those who want to exclude Windows entirely from their chromebook experience may do so. But ideally, those who need to access Windows from their chromebooks should be able to do so, too (through Horizon DaaS or some other means).
It would have made me worry more if Google had said they wanted the
experience of using Chrome itself to be like that of using Windows.
And at this point, I'd never buy a laptop without an IPS panel or newer screen tech with equally good viewing angles. Has anyone ever managed to use a laptop without ever having to show things on it to other people? No reason for my grillfiend and I to have to maintain our positions rigidly in the prime viewing spot for 120 minutes just to watch a flick on vacation.
