Kobo and Amazon Aus are often reasonably closely priced, but Kobo can be dearer across different ranges of books.

But - and this is the big difference for me - with Kobo I can choose which country to shop in without using a VPN unlike Amazon.

Kobo's discount codes are excellent and the main reason why I now have an elibrary of bought books (not just free books eg freebies + Gutenberg).

There's one 50% code and other codes on offer this month so far, and I trip over Kobo free ebooks when I'm checking out other books - so there's nothing to moan about from my perspective.
