Anyway, I just listened to The Entertainer and the only thing I can think of is from the line, "So they cut it down to 3:05". Were all these songs cut in length at the request of DJs?
If that's right, I suppose the answer to the bonus question is that it's the shortest song ever to be released, or get to number one, or something like that.
