Thank goodness we go have a four wheel drive now instead of that little Ford car. We live up a big hill and when we had inch last month hubby was playing escort to people who couldn't make it up. I didn't get much sleep at all I think it's the whole anticipation of this big storm that suppose to happen.

How is the snow Blossom? We have about 2" here and falling faster. I have one traveling home right now, who will hopefully make it, and another coming back from SD who will (I hope) stay a day in Nashville to avoid driving in any of this. The latter has our AWD car and mine is front-wheel (the one on the road right now, of course, is in a "sports" car, so I hope he gets here soon).

Keep in mind - unless she read the other, it isn't plagiarizing (otherwise, those TV writers would be in big trouble, as they all write practically the same show, ripped from current headlines).
And one scene does not a book make, either. It's entirely possible that she read the other or something similar and then the scene "popped into her head" when writing. It's difficult to go back and check dozens (or hundreds) of books to see if a scene you are writing was in one of them.
Now, if it were one she had read recently or consciously copied, that would be a different matter. I'm sure with no one talking, we'll never know the real story (unless it goes to court).
