I found out when I searched the book on goodreads to read the reviews. MYK is useless so I put everything I own into shelves to goodreads. It has helped me often to prevent buying the same book again if it got a new kindle number. I know I could search on MYK, but I have had many times where a book wouldn't come up in one search, but did at another. So I trust my shelves more on goodreads and booklikes.
I also have calibre sorted out, but I don't run calibre all day and its only on the desktop and I use my netbook often.
I would be completely lost without my databases, shelves, lists about my books.
