Right!? I LOVE my PRS-650. It's been my constant companion for years. It reads both epub and LRF (which I still like). I had the case I especially wanted shipped to the US from England for it. It's still the perfect reader for me. When the battery fails, which I assume will be its downfall unless I drop it or get it wet, I'm ordering
this. Looks easy enough, when you care for your ebook reader as personally as I care for mine.
That said, I haven't bought a book from the Sony store in AT LEAST 3 years, and I have no opinion whatsoever on their closing. I'm lucky to have access to great public libraries, and the Mobileread library. I have so much I want to read that if a book isn't available from those places that I have free access to, I just move on to the next.
