Thanks for the Taylor, but the Ward book reads like an unspectacular piece of elementary school homework -- literally. It's about 20 pages with clip art photographs and banal statements. The book description gives a sense of it: "It is about what the Romans did for us. For example, I would write something about the straight roads because they invented straight roads."
