It seems I only bought 3 books last week. I could have swore I bought more!
I read Home At Last Chance by Hope Ramsay (4 Stars) Get this the hero is actually named Tulane Rhodes! *groans* He's a NASCAR driver but still Hope has a sense of humor! Clay Rhodes, Tulane Rhodes, Rocky Rhodes and Stone Rhodes. I really like the heroine in this one she was just awesome however the last part of the book just fell flat for me. Rocky's the sister story is next and I really have not connected to her so it's going to be hard to read this one but I have to to get to Stone's story which is the one I want to know most.
I am Reading: An Affair To Remember by Karen Hawkins which is Sarah's brother Anthony's and her best friend Anna's story. I switch this after reading the first four chapters of Lord and Lady Spy by Shana Galen which I was really struggling to see it set in a Regency period due to the author's writing kept throwing me out of the time period. I really like the plot idea I just wish a better writer had wrote it. These writers are clueless when it comes to the Regency period. I bet they have never read Heyer or Austen and probably not many Traditional Regency books. After switching to the Hawkins book I realized just how brilliant a writer she is when it comes to drawing me not only into the story but the time period and while Ms. Hawkins wouldn't be consider traditional she can really write the time period and the dialogue well.
Edit: I knew I forgot one I bought that makes 4!
