But, if I start nickel and exit nickel with nickel_exit from the library, the orientation of the start menu is flipped again! Powering off from the menu again changes the orientation to the correct position.
C) Tapping anywhere flips the screen and shows the start menu in correct orientation.

Thank you for testing. Maybe we should also insert a warm up phase after returning from nickel.
