Well the new DRM , if implemented - will only be added to future books that you've not yet purchased.
Books that you already own, with the "old" DRM embedded, should continue to work just fine, unless ADOBE's idiocy is even worse than reported to-date.

It could be that , with hindsight, historians will say that Sony quit the epub reader market at exactly the right time, as Adobe seem hell bent on destroying it / handing 100% market share to Amazon's AZW book format
