I generally read with Palatino (size third from the smallest) on PW1.
There was one book recently that had odd text size, so no Palatino size was comfortable, and after a lot of experimenting I ended up with Caecilia condensed at some medium size.
The default (Caecilia) was very comfortable on Kindle 3 but somehow it doesn't work nearly as well on the Paperwhite.
