I'm baffled. From that list, the only thing missing from the Mini is the light. All the other options are exactly the same on all the current Kobo devices. Am I missing somethinh?

For the rest of your post, those are things people have asked for on all the Kobo devices and in the last few days, there has been a thread discussing what people want in a Mini with a light.
