This can be caused after you use a font a long time. All other fonts start to look "wrong".

Do you have a favorite font for reading? Do you prefer serif or sans serif fonts? Or do you just leave the font that is standard for the book you're reading?
I've been using my own modified version of DejaVu Serif for a long time. It works on the KPW1, but it requires a reconversion for the KPW2 as this reader does not support custom fonts anymore. (The KPW1 also doesn't, but it can be done using a hack.)

Therefore I've started to look into other fonts. Now, my favorite font is Palatino, on the KPW1. I'm now used to that font, and the one I started out with at the very beginning (Caecilia) now looks extremely fat and clunky.

Honestly, the only two decent fonts in the KPW1 are Palatino and Baskerville, depending if you want a somewhat larger or smaller font. (At the same size setting, Palatino is about half a size bigger than Baskerville.)

When reading books, I really don't like sans-serif fonts. None of my books ever used that. for websites, I don't really care.
