I'm sort of going through a "revisitng my youth" thing.
But not ME re-reading books from years ago.
I have 2 kids, 11 and 13.
both love reading books and I've been recommending book to them I read many years ago, such as the David Eddings books, Tolkiien, Enid Blyton, John Wynhdam, loads of books really and the vast majority of them they love.

They DO read their own choices of books as well.
I started it off by saying if they read a book I want them to read I'll read something THEY want me to try.
It works very well.
