Art books that aren't print replicas?

I've noticed with art history books (and textbooks in general) for Kindle that publishers have been very lazy in publishing essentially PDFs of the textbook layout instead of reformatting the content for Kindle. I can't seem to find an art history textbook with pictures that isn't also a "Print Replica".

Does anyone have any good suggestions for non-"Print Replica" art history overview books with photos for Kindle? I think it's much better to carry around my kindle fire than an enormous textbook like the printed version of Gardner's Art Through the Ages in my bag.
