I called my new library Calibre Warehouse.
For windows creating a new library in Calibre is super easy.
- Go to the folder where your main calibre library is (in my case the default location C:\Users\UserName).
- Create a new folder with the name of your new library (Click on Organize-->New Folder-->type in name)
- In Calibre, click on the library icon in the tool bar (see pic 1)
- Select "Switch/create library"
- Change option to "Create an empty library at the new location" (see pic 2)
- Type location of the folder or use the computer icon to navigate your way there (see pic 2 as well)
- Click OK
When you have multiple Calibre libraries switching between them is super easy, too. Just clicik on the library icon then select the library you want to view.
