I've only had the original Kobo, the Kindle Keyboard and a Kobo Mini. I have to say the K3 blows the other 2 out of the water. I've never had any serious issues with it so far. The Kobo Original died within the first year. I like the mini because of it's size and being able to adjust the margins and line spacing but it's not nearly as fast as my K3, and I love having collections. The mini has shelves but they are not as easy to get to as on the K3 and again, it's much slower to navigate through the menus. Also the touch screen on the mini is annoying, even a snow flake will change the page on me, and sometimes it gets stuck and won't change the page at all. There's no point in calling customer service at Kobo because they know nothing and can be very rude at times. Nothing beats Amazon's customer service.
