Hi, all. not sure this is in the right place but I have a problem with the new kindle paperwhite. I've just upgraded to the new one as my teen has long term borrowed my old one.
I'm beginning to hate the new paperwhite, it won't let me use calibre and wants to connect to the net every few mins.
Someone on another thread suggested I jailbreak it before the urge to smash it overcomes me, however I'm not sure how to or what the benefits would be, I have firmware: 5.4.2.1.
Is jailbreaking easy? Are there step by step instructions and most important of all would I get to use calibre again?
Please help!
