No, not the first ebook release. The original 5-book "General" series was originally released by Baen in ebook form in Feb and Mar 2003, as two omnibuses called "Warlord" (books 1-2) and "Conqueror" (books 3-5) respectively. ie, "Hope Reborn" is a re-issue of "Warlord".
