A couple of Bibles are on sale at Amazon. This is kind of weird in that the sale prices look like they were set by the publisher, but nobody else is showing the lower prices.

The Orthodox Study Bible is $3.99

The Orthodox Study Bible is interesting to me because the Old Testament is a translation of the Septuagint. It uses the NKJV in the places that the Septuagint matches the Masoretic text, making comparisons between a standard NKJV and the Septuagint relatively easy.

For example, in the NKJV Genesis 46:27 reads:

Quote:
And the sons of Joseph who were born to him in Egypt were two persons. All the persons of the house of Jacob who went to Egypt were seventy.
The Orthodox Study Bible (matching the Septuagint) reads:

Quote:
The sons of Joseph born to him in the land of Egypt were nine. Thus all the souls of the Jacob's house who went to Egypt were seventy-five.
I would have preferred a different translation than the NKJV, but it's a cool resource nonetheless.

The HCSB Study Bible is $2.99
