No-one NEEDS to carry 1000 books around, but some people WANT to, just because they can (or could, if the storage was big enough).

Sometimes, I do find it to be funny if people complain about not being able to take their entire library of 4732 books with them. Did you take 4732 paper books along on your commute? No? Then why do you want that many ebooks?

The only reason is: "Because it can be done."
