How to read more...the answer seems pretty straightforward: Read what you like.

However, finding out what you like reading takes time. Good rule is to take a chance on different genres and figuring it out. And when I say take a chance I don't mean reading one sci-fi book for example and deciding its not for you. I think you need at least half a dozen for that.

You said you read non-fiction only. I think there is your problem. Take a chance on fantasy, sci-fi, thrillers, detective, romance, whatever. Breath some life in to your reading, figure out what you like, what you love and what you don't want to read if somebody paid you to do it.
