That is incredibly generous of you. The difference here is that when I use Calibre it is for my own personal benefit, when they recommend the way they do, it's for commercial purposes. Considering the time you put into developing and supporting the program, it is only fair that you receive some sort of remuneration for it. If selling DRM free (they do have watermarks) books is enough for you, then who am I to question this?
