Here's the new thread for February (*here's a link to my
January thread to check out the last bargains I posted there)

Okay, so you may know me since I posted a lot of free and bargain books in this forum. I did add affiliate links to my posts before (the links may look like this-> http://www.amazon.com/Fifth-Woman-Wa...ag=arcadata-20), but I've been told that isn't allowed anymore in the main forum. I'll be allowed to continue to post my affiliate links in this personal thread though.
Basically, what happens is that I earn referral fees (starts at 4%) whenever a visitor follows my link to Amazon.com (or other sites) and then makes a qualifying purchase. It was a pretty good incentive for me to spend time here sharing any deals I found since I would get extra money per month to spend on books & apps!
So, hopefully, if you don't mind me getting a commission, you'll come visit this thread and click on my links when you're planning to buy something!

Product Description
Customer review: “A beautifully written book that stays with you long after reading the final page.”
International bestselling author Jeffrey Archer’s mesmerizing saga of the Clifton and Barrington families continues.
1945. The vote in the House of Lords as to who should inherit the Barrington family fortune has ended in a tie. The Lord Chancellor’s deciding vote will cast a long shadow on the lives of Harry Clifton and Giles Barrington. Harry returns to America to promote his latest novel, while his beloved Emma goes in search of the little girl who was found abandoned in her father’s office on the night he was killed. When the General Election is called, Giles Barrington has to defend his seat in the House of Commons and is horrified to discover who the Conservatives select to stand against him. But it is Sebastian Clifton, Harry and Emma’s son, who ultimately influences his uncle’s fate. In 1957, Sebastian wins a scholarship to Cambridge, and a new generation of the Clifton family march onto the page. After Sebastian is expelled from school, he unwittingly becomes caught up in an international art fraud involving a Rodin statue that is worth far more than the sum it raises at auction. Does he become a millionaire? Does he go to Cambridge? Is his life in danger? Best Kept Secret will answer all these questions, but once again, pose so many more.

Lettice & Victoria by Susanna Johnston from Arcadia Books (£0.99) is the Amazon UK

Product Description
Customer review: “…a wonderful magical book… pure escapism, I would highly recommend to anyone!”
Roman à clef? This darkly comedic novel revolves around the interactions of five main characters. Victoria, barely twenty, finds herself acting as amanuensis to Laurence, an elderly man of letters, now blind, who lives in a ravishing house by the sea in northern Italy. Soon after her arrival, she indulges in a heady night of passion with Edgar, a youthful Englishman. Their subsequent union introduces an extraordinary, dominating mother-in-law in the form of Lettice, who is jealous and suspicious of Victoria's prettiness and her ability to amuse Lettice's intellectual friends. Lettice makes it her goal to ensure that Victoria’s new life in England is not just complicated but completely confusing, too. Enter Archie, one of the inner circle, whose relationship with Victoria provokes a scandal that threatens to destroy her. Darkly funny and deeply insightful, Lettice & Victoria is not just a love story with a fanciful and flawed female protagonist, but a wonderful portrait of 1950s English society.
