Personally I wouldn't use Media Library for anything. If you go there, Amazon tells you to go elsewhere to manage your content. It's just there because pulling the plug on it now would upset people that actually use it. But it is just a matter of time before it goes away, they aren't going to fix problems or enhance it.
Amazon seems to be rolling out a major Manage Your Kindle change (see the other thread here). It will allow 'bulk delete' and other operations on multiple items, but from what I've seen they probably need to tweak a few things before they flip the switch.
