You can also get rid of particular tiles by doing a long press on the tile and select "Dismiss" from the menu displayed. There is one tile that can't be dismissed this way. It is the "Sync" tile. If you want to go back to the old home screen and the carousel, then, as TechniSol's suggested, you will need to go back to an older firmware. For the Touch, 2.8.1 is probably the one to use.
Thanks will try pressing and see what happens. Why can't it be the same as the old one lol just simple
