I have seen you and others complain about this occasionally and most times I have been puzzled. I have never had a moment's issue with its speed - when it works. My issue with wifi sync is: why on earth, when it can see a device when you first open it, and can see a device when you choose one of the tabs (eg apps) but when you go to sync, it suddenly cannot see it. Thats my beef. I have no probs with wired but with 3 devices... most times I'm going to be wifi.
