I pay a minimum of 6 dollars a month (comes off my water bill) up to 12 dollars a month for library use--whether I use it or not. Nope, it isn't free. But it's still a very good bargain. I hope someday overdrive has more books I want to read. I just checked out two this week and neither were my thing. I have one more on hold. They always have the best sellers from the past (when available they have the newer ones too) but I'm finding I have either already read those or never wanted to. Not that it keeps me from checking out books. I just have to go in and pick up the print copies of the stuff I really want to read. The instant download of the kindle has spoiled me!
