Why Kindle format still can't handle books with maps, pictures (travel books)?
Exercise:

Download a free sample of a recent Lonely Planet published travel book. The Brazil edition is a good example, issued on December 1, 2013.

Then compare it with an EPUB from the Kobo Store, Sony, or B&N.

See any difference? Quality of pictures, file size.
